Catie Cuan

Catie Cuan is a dancer, choreographer, and technologist. She recently completed artistic residencies at TED, ThoughtWorks, and the Robotics, Automation, and Dance Lab (at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). Catie studied Dance and Business Administration at UC Berkeley, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is currently a graduate student in the Mechanical Engineering department at Stanford University.


Amy LaViers

Amy LaViers is a dancer, choreographer, and engineer. She trained with the Laban/Bartenieff Institute for Movement Studies to be a Certified Movement Analyst, has a PhD in electrical engineering from GA Tech, and studied mechanical engineering and dance in her undergrad at Princeton. She also works as a faculty member in mechanical science and engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and with a AE Machines, a software company that received Product Design of the Year at the 4th Revolution Awards in Chicago for their online flexible automation environment.


Ishaan Pakrasi

Ishaan Pakrasi is an engineer, artist and developer based in Chicago. He was previously a graduate student at the Robotics, Automation and Dance Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he researched the relationship between design, movement and the perception of robots. He has 4 years of experience in hardware and software prototyping for robotics research.
